About KIA SACCOS LTD
KIA SACCOS LTD is a member-owned Savings and Credit Cooperative Society (SACCOS) registered under the Cooperative Societies Act No. 6 of 2013 (Registration No: PRI- KJR- HAI- DC- 2022- 1423). For over three decades, we have been dedicated to improving the economic and social well-being of our members by providing structured savings plans and affordable, accessible credit services.
Founded on 25th October 1989, our journey began with a simple yet powerful idea: to create a financial institution by the workers, for the workers. Today, we stand as a testament to the strength of collective effort, growing from a small group of committed individuals into a robust financial body with a capital base exceeding TZS 3 Billion.

Our governance structure is rooted in democratic principles, with ultimate authority resting with the members through the Annual General Meeting (AGM). This ensures that every voice is heard and every decision is made with the members' welfare in mind.
